The Vacancy
Southwark College and Lewisham College, part of NCG (a leading national provider of education and training), is looking to recruit a Marketing Events Lead.
The Marketing Events Lead will work within the Marketing and Communications team to lead events and campaigns in London. The successful candidate will also deputise for the Marketing and Student Recruitment Manager, providing vital support with office management, business planning and project analysis.
The Marketing Events Lead will work closely with marketing leadership to shape and develop the College’s marketing and events strategy and roll-out of a new external and internal events programme at our Lewisham and Southwark campuses. The post holder will take up the role during an exciting time in our journey as we build new brands as part of one of the largest college groups in the UK. You will work within a supportive team to manage job requests, plan tasks, and allocate work and projects within the department to ensure deadlines are met.
You will possess excellent organisational skills and have experience of managing both large- and small-scale events and developing working relationships with stakeholders. Ability to show initiative and respond effectively to new projects is also essential.
